Real Estate Wire Reporting Authority- How have you earned a reputation with your customers and other real estate professionals as an authority in the real estate business?
Rhett Smillie Real Estate LLC- By being consistently honest and up front, even when I know my answer isn’t maybe what someone wants to hear and by having been in business long enough to know what I am talking about (if I don know, I can admit that and know where to get the answers!) I think when you tell someone something and they believe you, that builds a reputation as an authority.
REWRA- Do you own rental property or invest in the real estate market yourself?
RSRE- Absolutely! I think it is hard to represent investment clients and or sell rental property and not actively participate in the market. I have ownership interests right now in over 20 properties and have brokered 40 deals that I have had ownership in.
REWRA- What types of real estate do you focus on and/or what types of services can your clients seek help from Rhett Smillie Real Estate with?
RSRE- Having been in business for over 10 years, we have handled many different kinds of real estate transactions. We currently service all types of clients; residential sales and leasing, commercial sales & leasing, and property and construction management.
REWRA- If one of your clients asked you if you were the best Realtor in the area for them, could you honestly answer YES? What does being the Best Realtor mean to you?
RSRE- Absolutely! I think that being the Best Realtor is not about having the most listings or the biggest ads…being the Best Realtor is being exceptional at placing the clients needs first and meeting those needs. We care about every client we work with! The teacher buying their first house gets the same care and attention as the builder with multiple properties to market or the giant NYSE company relocating an office to the Springfield area.
